
On March 22, HP4All had the opportunity to be part of the Sustainability in a Changing Climate workshop held at the Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest (TUS).
During the event, HP4All’s coordinator, Padraic O’Reilly, was responsible for welcoming and closing the session, while Stephen Murphy, Research Engineer at TUS and responsible for the Irish pilot within the project, addressed the session Heat Pumps and their role in European Sustainability.
In his presentation, Stephen provided an overview of the heat pump technologies, gave the current status of the sector in Ireland and offered an approach on how HP4All can overcome the lack of proper training and skills.
